Privacy Policy

Orbery & Co. ("Orbery," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through orbery.co, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect information in a few limited ways:

• Contact form. If you reach out through our Contact page, we collect your name, and whichever of email or phone number you provide, plus your message.
• Gifting feature. If you build a gift link to send to someone, we store the name you enter, an optional personal note, and the pieces you selected, so the recipient's page can load them. If you choose to email the link directly through the site, we also process the recipient's name and email address for that one purpose.
• Inquiries via WhatsApp, phone, or email. If you contact us directly through one of these channels, that conversation is subject to that platform's own privacy practices as well as ours.
• Usage data. We use a privacy-focused analytics service (Vercel Analytics) to understand overall site traffic and performance. It does not use cookies to track you individually across sites and does not build an advertising profile of you.
• Local/session storage. We use your browser's session storage for one small functional purpose — remembering that you've dismissed a promotional pop-up for the rest of that browser tab's session. This is not used to identify or track you.

We do not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or sell any information to data brokers or advertisers.

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to inquiries and messages you send us.
• To operate the gifting feature — generating and delivering a gift link, and showing a sender which piece a recipient favorited.
• To understand how the site is used, so we can keep it fast and fix problems.
• To meet legal, security, and fraud-prevention obligations.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of service providers to run this site, each of which processes limited data on our behalf:

• Supabase — hosts our database and photo storage.
• Vercel — hosts the site itself and provides privacy-focused analytics.
• Resend — delivers transactional emails (contact form replies, gift link emails).
• Google — we load Google Fonts from Google's servers, and display our public Google Business Profile reviews on the homepage.
• WhatsApp and Instagram (Meta) — our site links out to these platforms; any conversation or interaction you have there is governed by Meta's own privacy policy.

These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own independent purposes.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with the service providers listed above, or if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a sale of the business).

Data Retention

We keep contact form messages and gift link records for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, or until you ask us to delete them.

Your Choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@orbery.co. We'll respond as quickly as we can.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
